Antique Victorian / Edwardian White Cotton Lace Petticoat Skirt (S)

An exceptional antique white cotton petticoat skirt, dating to the late Victorian / early Edwardian period.

Cut from lightweight, semi-sheer cotton and detailed with floral embroidery and a scalloped hem.

Inside the waistband is an original red Gothic-script “M” marking tape, traditionally used to identify the owner when garments were sent out for laundering.
