A stunning vintage 1940s/1950s embroidered peasant blouse, in soft ivory with exquisite hand-worked floral embroidery in red, pink and green.

The blouse is cut with a softly gathered square neckline, short puff sleeves, and a fitted waist, including tiny metal snap closures along the side waist designed to maintain a seamless, uninterrupted tailored bodice.The saturated threadwork and traditional peasant silhouette reflect the character of mid-century Mexican folk dress and handcrafted textile work.
